Role overview: Global strategic partnering team member
Are you passionate about supporting scientific innovation, building strategic customer relationships, and driving operational excellence? This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a global environment and wants to make an impact in the biotech and pharmaceutical sectors.
Based in Indianapolis, IN, USA or Cayman Islands, you will serve clients across North America, Europe, and other global regions while actively collaborating with our head office in Australia.
Key responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of relationships with key stakeholders in pharmaceutical and biotech companies, as well as universities and research institutes.
- Present and promote Ozgene’s services to current and prospective clients.
- Participate in client meetings to understand their challenges and support solution development.
- Represent Ozgene at international industry conferences, networking events, and online forums to foster brand visibility and client connections.
- Collaborate with global internal teams, including frequent communication with the Australian head office, to ensure excellent service delivery and project success.
- Provide valuable feedback from the field to enhance service offerings and inform business strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field; additional training in business or communications is a plus.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales support, customer service, business development, or account management in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.
- Basic understanding of the biotech/pharma industry and a general grasp of the drug discovery process.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
- Self-driven, adaptable, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a remote, international team.
